UQ Street Groove

Welcome to UQ Street Groove, Brisbane’s largest street dance university society! We are a non-profit organisation; our aim is to encourage street dance within the club as well as connect university students to the wider street dance community. We run numerous events such as classes, performances, competitions and social events throughout the year! 

At Street Groove, we aim to create a fun, inclusive and supportive environment where members can grow in dance and build friendships. Our weekly Saturday classes, annual dance showcase, dance battles, and our dance crews (Street Essence – performance crew; Foundation Crew – our freestyle-focused dance crew) provide diverse ways for our members to get involved. Whether someone prefers choreography or freestyle, there’s space for everyone to grow and all at an affordable price!
